The work was on the synthesis of CNTs by nebulised spray pyrolysis and the use of the CNTs as supports in catalysis. He was a senior lecturer at the University of Johannesburg for 111 years and is currently employed in a similar position at the Tshwane University of Technology. His duties include undergraduate classes as well as the supervision of nanotechnology-related research projects.
