Students (K-18) were asked to present their perspectives and concerns on the climate crisis in photography or other art forms with an accompanying caption that explained their process. The number and quality of submissions in every grade level excelled expectations. There were over forty submissions in the college (freshman-postgraduate) level alone.

Renowned German photographer and climate justice advocate Barbara Dombrowski selected 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners for the Global Climate Action Art & Photography Contest alongside a committee review and selection team of Georgia Tech Faculty, Georgia Department of Education members, and Atlanta Global Studies Center staff.

Student winners were announced by Barbara Dombrowski during the Climate Action Symposium live stream on Thursday, October 8.
