The event is open to the entire campus community and all students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend and see the vast array of research being performed by undergraduates at the Institute.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0022This event is the culmination of efforts, not only by the participating undergraduates, but of the faculty and graduate mentors at Tech,\u0022 said Christopher Reaves, director of undergraduate research and student innovation. \u0022This forum allows students the opportunity to communicate and garner feedback about their work and engage in interdisciplinary discourse and possible future collaboration ... the breadth of projects runs the gamut and the level of research is unparalleled when compared to other undergraduate research symposia.\u0022\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EApproximately 140 students will participate this year, with 33 oral presentations and 69 poster presentations.
