The program is intended to catalyze a cultural change in graduate education, for students, faculty, and institutions, by establishing innovative new models for graduate education and training in a fertile environment for collaborative research that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries. The NSF preliminary proposal deadline is Tuesday, March 29, 2011, by 5:00 p.m. Since there is a limit on the number of preliminary proposals Georgia Tech may submit, please submit a five-page (5-page) summary of your proposal to the Office of the Executive Vice Provost for Research (EVPR). A faculty committee will recommend to the EVPR which proposals they feel would best represent Georgia Tech.
