Best \u003C\/strong\u003Eis professor with the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs and the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology where he directs the Technologies and International Development Lab. Best is Director of Research at Georgia Tech - Shenzhen, our campus in China.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;He was founding director of the United Nations University Institute on Computing and Society (UNU-CS) in Macau SAR, China. He holds a Ph.D. from MIT and has served as director of Media Lab Asia in India and head of the eDevelopment group at the MIT Media Lab.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ENikolay Koposov \u003C\/strong\u003Eis a Visiting Professor at Emory University. Previously, he worked at Georgia Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University, Helsinki University, Ecole des hautes \u0026eacute;tudes en sciences sociales in Paris and other schools. In 1998-2009, he was Founding Dean of Smolny College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, a joint venture of Saint-Petersburg State University and Bard College (New York). Koposov\u0026rsquo;s academic interests include modern European intellectual history, history of concepts, historiography and historical memory. He has authored and edited nine books including\u0026nbsp;De l\u0026rsquo;imagination historique\u0026nbsp;(Editions de l\u0026rsquo;EHESS, 2009) and\u0026nbsp;Pamiat\u0026rsquo; strogogo regima: Istoriya i politika v Rossii\u0026nbsp;[A Strict-Security Memory: History and Politics in Russia] (Moscow, The New Literary Observer Press, 2011).
