She is director of the Center for Architecture, Science and Ecology (CASE), which hosts the Built Ecologies graduate program. Dyson received a Baccalaur\u00e9at G\u00e9n\u00e9ral from Universit\u00e9 Laval and a Master of Architecture from Yale University. She has worked as a design architect and product designer in several offices in Canada, Europe and the United States. As Director of Materialab and then CASE, she has directed interdisciplinary systems research sponsored by the US DOE, NYSTAR and NYSERDA.
