  <title><![CDATA[Yaszek, Sci Fi Lab Fellows Co-author Article on Feminist Sci Fi]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><a href="https://iac.gatech.edu/people/person/lisa-yaszek">Lisa Yaszek</a>, Regents Professor of Science Fiction Studies in the <a href="https://www.lmc.gatech.edu/">School of Literature, Media, and Communication</a>, and four undergraduate research fellows in the <a href="https://scifi.lmc.gatech.edu/">Sci Fi Lab</a> co-authored an article titled &quot;Accessing the Feminist Science Fiction Archive.&rdquo; The article appeared in <a href="https://www.femspec.org/">FEMSPEC</a>, an interdisciplinary feminist journal dedicated to science fiction, fantasy, magical realism, surrealism, myth, folklore, and other supernatural genres.</p>

<p>Olivia Kiklica, Jessica Taetle, Josie Benner, and Edeliz Zuleta co-authored the article with Yaszek. Kiklica and Taetle are computational media majors. Benner and Zuleta&nbsp;are majoring in biomedical engineering with a minor in&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lmc.gatech.edu/programs/minors/science-fiction-studies">science fiction studies</a>.</p>

<p>In the article, Yaszek and the fellows explore the challenges and rewards of researching the feminist science fiction archive for Yaszek&#39;s upcoming book, <em>The Future is Female, vol 2: More Classic Science Fiction by Women (The 1970s).</em></p>
