{"659869":{"#nid":"659869","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Interim Leadership Roles Announced for Administration and Finance","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EFollowing the news of Kelly Fox\u0026rsquo;s departure from Georgia Tech as executive vice president for Administration and Finance (A\u0026amp;F), President \u0026Aacute;ngel Cabrera is appointing two new interim leadership positions until a permanent replacement is selected.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBeginning Aug. 13, Mike Shannon, A\u0026amp;F\u0026rsquo;s vice president and deputy chief business officer, will assume the role of interim executive vice president for A\u0026amp;F and will serve as interim chief business officer. In addition, Jim Fortner will remain A\u0026amp;F\u0026rsquo;s vice president for Finance and Planning and will assume the role of interim chief financial officer.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;I thank them both for their support, leadership, and willingness to serve in this capacity as we move forward,\u0026rdquo; said Cabrera. \u0026ldquo;They are trusted and dedicated members of the Institute\u0026rsquo;s senior leadership team and bring a wealth of experience to the organization.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBoth Shannon and Fortner have served the Institute in various leadership roles over the years and will continue to lead the transformative initiatives already underway in A\u0026amp;F.
