I believe in the vision outlined in the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/students.gatech.edu\/content\/cultivate-well-being-action-transformation-roadmap\u0022\u003ECultivate Well-Being Action and Transformation Roadmap\u003C\/a\u003E, and I look forward to working with Luoluo Hong, vice president for Student Engagement and Well-Being, and the entire division to see those goals come to fruition for the campus community.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHarrington has 31 years of experience in higher education \u0026mdash; 21 of them at Georgia Tech. Her professional experience includes student services, student affairs, human resources, facility operations, financial management, program delivery, and executive administration.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;My position was newly established just over a year ago. I am excited to begin the process of building the team who will help me support the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/students.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EDivision of Student Engagement and Well-Being\u003C\/a\u003E and the needs of our students going forward,\u0026rdquo; Hong said.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EHarrington will serve as Hong\u0026rsquo;s chief of staff, ensuring that the vision, mission, strategic priorities, goals, and daily operations of the division are carried out effectively. Working in close consultation and collaboration with Hong and all members of the division\u0026rsquo;s leadership team, Harrington will provide administrative, operational, and change management support. She will start her new role on Oct. 1.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe search committee was chaired by associate vice president for Student Life and dean of Students, John Stein, and administratively supported by Mary Brunson, assistant to the vice president.
