You will meet and network with our fantastic community partners: \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/https:\/\/www.3dgirlsinc.org\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003E3D Girls\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.closeties.org\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EClose Ties Leadership Program\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.consultreadi.com\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EREADI\u0026nbsp;Workforce Training\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.swimlifefitness.com\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003ESwim Life Fitness\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.jaredsheartofsuccess.com\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EJared\u0026#39;s Heart of Success\u003C\/a\u003E, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.edquityconsulting.com\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EEdquity Consulting\u003C\/a\u003E,and \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/showcasegroup.org\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EShowcase Group\u003C\/a\u003E, and then vote for your favorite student team to receive the\u0026nbsp;People\u0026#39;s Choice award.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;A Poster Showcase will follow the presentations, where teams will display the Stakeholder Maps they prepared on issues ranging from developing and implementing equitable curriculum in K-12 to providing young Black men with mentors who look like them to a tech-enabled training platform that reskills youth through the use of VR.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI2S takes a comprehensive approach to\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003Esocial innovation,\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003Eencouraging students to be compassionate listeners; identify and build on the assets of the community; research the solution landscape to learn from both what works and what has failed; take a\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003Esystems approach\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;to identify the root cause versus the symptoms of the issue.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EStudents who aspire to work closely with and learn from a community partner\/civic entrepreneur, those who want to affect change in the\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003EUnited Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs)\u003C\/strong\u003E, and those who are wondering how they can make a real, lasting, and appropriate difference in other people\u0026rsquo;s lives are ideal candidates for I2S.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn the 2023\u0026nbsp;season, student teams learned from and worked with our Atlanta area community partners and civic entrepreneurs.\u0026nbsp;A series of\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003Ehands-on workshops\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003Eand\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003Ediscussions\u003C\/strong\u003E, complemented by\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003Econversations with front-line experts\u003C\/strong\u003E, equipped participants with broadly relevant problem-discovery tools and skills to apply in any field and career. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWe are grateful for support from our partners on and off campus:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EThe Cecil B.
