To achieve these goals,\u0026nbsp; the high-fidelity grid connected PV system is developed in an EMT simulation. The time domain Electro-Magnetic Transients programs (PSCAD\/EMTDC) is adopted to build and verify the model. In this work, the merit of the time domain model is performed by simulating the test PV plants and validating the results against the recorded Field data from a utility scale PV plant located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A rational agreement between the simulation results to the field data is used as a metric of success, the accuracy was quantified using two metrics: Instantaneous error and the Root mean squared error (RMSE).
