ARRT Fellows are expected to have earned their doctorate degree (Ph.D. Psy.D. J.D., or terminal degree equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., rehabilitation engineering or engineering\/computer science with research focus on accessibility, disability studies, law, or policy). The Research Technologist will interface directly with the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts (IAC) enterprise IT group to ensure that CACP equipment and operations are in compliance with GT IT policies. The Research Technologist will provide general helpdesk support, the provisioning of new computer equipment, and inventory tracking. The Research Technologist will directly support CACP lab operations, data collection, equipment configuration and deployment, and maintenance of existing specialized research equipment. CACP participates in human performance research, home automation studies, Internet of Things (IoT) research and data collection, and rapid prototyping of innovative technologies.
