The event is organized by the Southeastern Economics Collaborative, which welcomes economics students and advisors from all schools in the region, and is a safe place for students, advisors, faculty, and professionals to connect and support each other through their career decision-making

Panelists

• Isabella Canales Claudio is a climate change and sustainability consultant at Ernst & Young. Claudio graduated from the University of Georgia with a M.S. degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics with a heavy emphasis on environmental resource management. Prior to that, she earned her B.S. at UGA in Environmental Economics and Management with a minor in Political Science and Certificate of Sustainability.
• Quentin Johnson is the director of diversity and inclusion programs at the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics at the University of Chicago. A graduate of Morehouse College with a B.S. in Math and Economics, Johnson also earned an MBA from American University. Johnson also served as senior economics outreach specialist for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
• Michael Sparks is a research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He received Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.
• Aselia Urmanbetova, Ph.D. is an undergraduate teaching coordinator at the School of Economics at Georgia Tech.
