670230 news 1696538524 1698949738 <![CDATA[Procurement and Business Services Streamlines Workday Requisition Approvals]]> Procurement and Business Services (PBS) is streamlining Workday requisition approvals, effective Monday, Nov. 6.

To simplify the process for low dollar purchases, the Cost Center Manager approval will no longer be needed on contract and catalog requisitions totaling less than $1,000. Requisitions in this population will now route as follows:   

Requester > Driver Worktag Manager > PO Issuance    

Due to restrictions on certain funding sources, Grant and Gift funds will not use the new workflow and will continue to route to the Cost Center Manager for approval.       

PBS will review the effectiveness of this change to the workflow and may expand this process to Grant and Gift funds later in the fiscal year. We will communicate any potential updates before any changes take place.
