The ultra-short laser pulse is effective on polymers, metal, glasses, single crystals, and polymorphic crystals. Materials are ionized by the laser pulse and removed from the surface in a plasma cloud, leaving a clean surface at the interaction site. Contrary to typical thermal laser operations, the femto-second laser is not as sensitive to wavelength absorption and therefore offers minimum thermal, creating a no Heat-Affected-Zone on the part. \u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EThe Optec software allows coordinated moves between the galvo scanning 6\u00b5m spot head and the stage to create patterns that are uninterrupted over the entire stage area with a precision of 2\u00b5m.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E \u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EThe LSV-FLEX system is equipped with HD zoom video microscope for alignment and inspection, 300 x 300 mm sub-micron resolution XY stages with vacuum chuck, high-speed scan head with infinite-field-of-view (IFOV) stage, Bessel Module, integrated industrial PC with many other standard and optional features. This will be ideal for microfluidics and photonics applications as well as material removal.
