Wayne Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons and a transit hub near the Student Center Commons, and renovations to Tech (formerly known as \u201cSkiles\u201d) Walkway and the Campanile. \u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe latest details about each project follow: \u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EClough Commons\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EANTICIPATED COMPLETION DATE: All furniture, security systems and audio\/visual systems will be completed in time for building occupants to begin moving in on Aug. 1. Starbucks will be completed and open for business by Aug. 8. An open house for faculty and staff is scheduled for Aug. 30. \u003Cbr \/\u003EPERCENTAGE COMPLETE: 95 percent\u003Cbr \/\u003EWHAT IS COMPLETE: All aspects of the building are nearly complete. \u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr \/\u003EWHAT STILL NEEDS WORK: Furniture, security systems and audio\/visual systems are being installed. \u003Cbr \/\u003EUPCOMING CLOSURES\/DETOURS: None\u003Cbr \/\u003ECONTACT: \u003Ca href=\u0022mailto:John.Duconge@facilities.gatech.edu \u0022\u003EJohn DuConge\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ETransit Hub\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EANTICIPATED COMPLETION DATE: July 1\u003Cbr \/\u003EPERCENTAGE COMPLETE: 92 percent\u003Cbr \/\u003EWHAT IS COMPLETE: Most of the hardscaping \u2014 that is, paving and sidewalks, landscaping and lighting improvements. \u003Cbr \/\u003EWHAT STILL NEEDS WORK: The final paving of the visitor parking area and trolley turnaround need to be completed, along with some other aspects of the hardscaping and a few electrical connections. \u003Cbr \/\u003EUPCOMING CLOSURES\/DETOURS: There will be a temporary detour while paving along Ferst Drive at the new visitor lot entrance and trolley turnaround is completed. Some work remains on Fourth Street, which will briefly impact vehicular access to Research Drive.
