Zangwill will assume the role from Haskell Beckham, professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cAs chair, Professor Zangwill will help strengthen the relationship among the board, the library and Tech faculty on issues such as scholarly communication, library collections and services,\u201d said Catherine Murray-Rust, dean and director of libraries.\u201d \u0026nbsp; \u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe 20-member LFAB was created in 2007 to encourage communication among Institute faculty members and the Library.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cI am delighted to assume the duties of chair of the Library Faculty Advisory Board,\u201d Zangwill said. \u201cNot everyone realizes that the library plays an even bigger part in student education and in faculty teaching and research than it did in the Dark Ages before the Internet.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E","summary":null,"format":"limited_html"}],"field_subtitle":"","field_summary":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EProvost Rafael L.
